The Hockey Stick
The Mastersworkbench Atom LL #2 team joined together with their new winter hats and with valiant effort (I think it was because there was mention of Hartley Fudge for the winning team) and came away with a 4-1 win against a little lighter TCDMHA Rebels Team (with only 8 players and a goalie!)
Once again, our team effort proved that the winning combination that works is hard skating, hard passing, back-checking and never giving up!
Our team put 2 goals up on the board in the 1st period thanks to Meghan Prentice (assisted by her linemates, Spencer Davidson and Jake Ross) and Spencer, assisted by his teammates, Meghan and Ella Tiley).
The second period saw the Rebels get on the board with a goal by Dalan Frook, assisted by Wesley Houston and Ethan Harrison.
Our second period reply was by Jake Ross, unassisted.
Jake added his second goal of the game in the third period, assisted by his teammates, Meghan and Ella.
It seems amazing that such a fun and entertaining game comes from merely a stick and a puck. All the team should be happy with their stick-handling today. All players should be proud of their hockey skills today that kept their opposing players at bay.
It is a pleasure to watch this team grow together as a team and as friends.

The Hartley Fudge may have been the offering that was needed for the win today.....let's keep an eye on that :)
