It's a Whole New Season
After a full day of hockey in Penetang on Saturday, Feb. 15/14, the team made its way to Shallow Lake on Feb. 16/14 to face the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs in the team's first game of the 2014 playoffs.
With our full team playing on the heels of the fast-paced Penetang Tournament, The Masterworkbench Atom LL#2 team picked up right where they left off!
Jake Ross opened up the scoring in the first period with a goal, assisted by Spencer Davidson.
Sam Standoloft added a 2nd goal, unassisted in the 2nd period.
One of our great defenders, Shawn Briggs, scored in the 3rd period, assisted by Bennett Lines. Spencer Davidson added an unassisted goal in the 3rd, and Liam Copping was able to get the Ice Dogs on the board in the 3rd with an unassisted goal, unfortunately denying Lander of his shutout! Nonetheless, great job Lander!
