Great Effort!
Without two of our teammates, Lander Hartley and Bennett Lines, The Mastersworkbench Atom LL#2 came up short in a 3-1 loss to the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs on February 1, 2014 in Shallow Lake.
Jake Ross made an awesome debut in net (thanks Lander for your helpful hints and advice prior to your vacation!) Congratulations Jake on a job well done:)
Zach Palmer opened the scoring in the first period, assisted by Tyler McKee, putting the team up 1-0! The Ice Dogs replied with a goal of their own in the first period by Logan McIntosh, assisted by Wayke Reid and Evan McLeod.
The Ice Dogs added two (2) goals in the 3rd period by Dylan McKinnon (assisted by Cassie Westover and Brett Farrow) and a 2nd goal by Rocco Krisza (unassisted).
Congratulations to the Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs for a game played with determination and heart and a well-deserved team win!
