"Sudsy" Sutherlands leads the way as the Peewee Rep Lakers find themselves in another tight one !
"Sudsy" shines as Lakers continue quite a trend !
Its a trend that the players are reminded of quite often, a trend that requires each and every shift to have significant matter, and once again the Lakers found themselves having to empty their tanks as they faced off against the Ironmen from Wingham.
For the 18th time this season the boys were involved in a game which would be decided by 2 goals or less, and with the game notted at 2 goals apiece heading into the 3rd frame against the Ironmen the Lakers came out with alot of determination and strong team play down low and pulled out a hard working 4-2 victory.
Kaleb "Sudsy" Sutherland held the hot stick of the day, picking up his 14th and 15th goals of the season while adding a couple of helpers. Terran Hooey and Wesley Talon added single markers. Devin Scarr held down the fort in net for his Lakers squad, as the teams defence picked it up a notch in front of him with a strong backcheck.
The team welcomed back Christopher "Slinger" Lawerence after 12 games due to a shoulder injury......good to see you back in game action kid !!!
