Hockey weekend
This was a big weekend of hockey for our Owen Sound Ledgerock Shallow Lake Lakers Atom LL #1 team!
Our Lakers did great in the Shallow Lake tournament on Saturday facing off against the Shallow Lake Atom LL #2 team for the championship game where the game was tied until the last minute of play when Jake Ross swept in and scored the game winning goal for the #2 team. Through out the day, goals and assist went to every player on our team!
The play continued on Sunday when we faced TCDMHA and came away with a 7-0 win on home ice. Darryl Blair and Anderson Kivell started the game off with 2 goals each. Kaiden Henrich, Kennedy Hibma, and Quintin Cardinal each added singles. Assists went to Jimmy St. Marie, Darryl Blair, Kaiden Henrich, Wyatt Hickson, and Jarrod Forest (3). The shut out goes to Oskar French Jones.
