The Lakers showed up to win today in our first game of the championship series against TCDMHA.
Jonathan Coffey came out of the gate swinging and put the Lakers on the board early in the first period - assisted by Kaiden Henrich and Kennedy Hibma. Owen VanManen added the next goal, assisted by Anderson Kivell and Darryl Blair, followed by a second goal from Jonathan - assisted this time by Dominic Eldred Wood and Kennedy again. Dylan Frook replied for TCDMHA and scored 2 goals in the first period - ending this period in a nail biting 3-2. the Lakers stepped it up for the rest of the game with goals from Quintin Cardinal, Darryl Blair(2), and Kaiden Henrich. Assists going to Jarrod Forest, Darryl Blair, Wyatt Hickson, Anderson Kivell, Kennedy Hibma, and Dominic Eldred Wood. Jimmy St. Marie shut down the Laker's net for the final 2 periods, denying TCDMHA any chance at a come back.
