Back to Back wins
The Owen Sound Ledgerock Shallow Lake Lakers had a great weekend with back to back wins on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's game was a 4-0 win against the Saugeen Shores Storm. The team came out strong as Wyatt Hickson scored the game winning goal and followed up with an assist. Darryl Blair then solidified the win with 2 goals and an assist. Zack Deakins added 1 goal and Kaiden Henrich added an assist. Oskar French Jones took the shutout! On Sunday, the Lakers travelled to Owen Sound for an exhibition game against the Owen Sound Atom Select Team. The Lakers took the game 7-1 with Jimmy St. Marie making his debut in net. Kaiden Henrich started things off with the first goal. Darryl Blair added 2 goals and Jonathan Coffey, Quintin Cardinal, Wyatt Hickson, and Oskar French Jones all added singles. Assists went to Darryl Blair, Quintin Cardinal, Jonathan Coffey, Zack Deakins, and Kaiden Henrich.
