Winning Streak Continues.....And Still Having Fun!
Happy 2016 to all minor hockey teams at very this busy time of year!
Our Peewee LL team proved that a good rest and perseverance pays off as we hosted the Arran-Elderslie team on January 16, 2016 in Shallow Lake. We won the game by a narrow margin of 3-2.
Congratulations to our 1st period scorers: Jake Ross for Shallow Lake, assisted by Jonathan Coffey and Jakob Fritz for Arran-Elderslie, assisted by Evan McLeod.
The lone goal scored in period 2 went to Oskar French-Jones for Shallow Lake, assisted by Wyatt Hickson.
Scoring first in period 3, his 2nd of the game, was Jakob Fritz, assisted by Nicholas Kilbreath. For Shallow Lake it was Wyatt Hickson, assisted by Sam Standoloft.
Once again, both goalies had great games :)
Let's show positive support moving forward to our hockey team as we finish up the regular season and head into the playoffs! And of course remembering the most important part of hockey - "having fun" -because that my hockey friends is what we are all here for :) GO LAKERS GO!!
