Too Close for Comfort!
Our Shallow Lake Peewee team battled against a hard-fought Hanover team on December 5, 2015 in Shallow Lake.  Hearts were pumping hard for this one! We did manage to eke out a win by a score of 4-3, and the time clock was definitely on our side!

Tyler McKee opened the scoring for the Lakers in period 1 with an unassisted goal.

The game was still 1-0 when the Zamboni cleaned the ice after period 2.  What a great game and terrific saves by the goalies of both teams!

Period 3 was exciting to say the least!  Quinlin Wilder was able to put up two goals for Shallow Lake, assisted by Tanner Hammil (2), Wyatt Hickson and Sam Standoloft.  In response, the West Grey team tied the score with 2 goals!  Unfortunately sometimes the score sheet is too light!  Sorry!

In the dying seconds of the 3rd period, Wyatt Hickson, does what he does best under pressure - puts his team ahead by scoring the winning goal!  We couldn't be prouder Wyatt!  Your team thanks you :)

We will all come to the next game with our hearts beating a little softer!
