First we have to start with Thursdays game. We had a tie game. With a tie 1-1 we have Johnathon C. with the goal and Brayden in for the assist.
Sundays game was a on the edge of your seat game. Going up against the only team that had beaten us previously. With the Shallow Lake atom team hoping to have home town advantage. It sure started out that way! With Johnathon M passing it to Logan R passing it to Logan M who put it into the net just a few mins. into the game. Everyone was cheering excited that we had one on the board.
With one on the board. The Lakers where not going to just give up, they where going for that puck. Defence was getting the puck and shooting it up the boards for offence. So many times this happened trying to get another goal. And in the second period We see Johnathon C get our second goal. With the players skating with all their will to keep up. Back and forth up that ice. They sure had a good work out! Jessie had a good work out and too and was saving them left and right, and even in between.
Third period and they are still working to keep that puck. passing and playing was amazing this game. Working as a team is always the goal. In this last period we are tied just in the middle of the period. Hard work always pays off. With one more goal!! Johnathon C gets one more in the net with the help of Meghan P and Brayden R for assists. This game was one that kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time. With hard work and hard skating it pays off with a WIN for Shallow Lake Atom LL. Way to go Lakers you earned this one!!
