South port tournament Lakers for the win!
With lots of practice under their blades...It was time to see what this team could do! Everyone was ready to rock the yellow and black! The first game was a close call but with everyone out there going for that puck. And in doing so there was victory! Playing a team we have never played gave us a good work out! But in the end it resulted in a win! With 6 goals...3 goals and 2 assist for Logan M...2 goals and 2 assist for Hayden M...1 goal 1 assist for Johnathon C...1 assist for Kylan...1 assist for Meghan P...1 assist for Dylan and 1 assist for Bennett!
After a victory the Lakers knew they had to stay positive...This game was going to be a hard one! With the kids all ready and focused on the puck there was no stopping them! We knew this was going to be a hard game as they have played this team before...With 2 goals we won the game! 1 goal by Jonathan C and one goal by Hayden...and an assist by Scott...This was an amazing game as it was Jesse's first shut out of the tournament!!!
Last game and after coming off the ice with such a win the last two games the Lakers where excited to play the next game....With all of us cheering them on in the stands this became the game of the night....three games in one day is a lot...but the Lakers where ready for what ever came their way!
This game could have not gone any better the lakers where on fire! The passing the playing and whole team spirit was amazing! Jonathan c with 2 goals and one assist...Logan M with 3 goals 1 assist...Bennett with 1 goal and 1 assist...Meghan P with 2 assist...William with 2 assists....Scott with 1 assist and Logan R with 1 assist....And Jesse in net was blocking saving and watching that puck fly at him and not even blinking when he saved it....this was Jesse's second shut out of this tournament!!!
All in all this was a great day for the Atom LL Lakers. So much fun and so much team work out on the ice...now we get to start play offs...and we do so with a smile :) Goooooo Lakerssss!!!!!
