Is this if? Are we done? I the Hockey season over! This year has flown by so fast that I cant even believe its over!
The Atom LL Lakers finished with a bang this year! After finishing our first play of rounds with sitting 4th Hard to believe that we made it this far!
After finding out we would be playing for the conciliation we where excited to get started! Our first game was in Southapton. It was as fast and furious as it ever could be. With a win of 4-1, we knew that the next game was going to be even faster. We where on home ice this time and kids where excited to get out there and give it their all! And they sure did! with a win of 5-2... This game was just as fast as it could be. With us getting the first two goals so fast...it didn't take long for them to answer back with two of their own. But we where ready for that and like fire got three more in the goal before the game was over. The Shallow Lake Atom LL Lakers got 3rd overall. What great team work.
This is it its over...hockey for this year has come to an end....It has been so much fun to see this team grow. To see the wins the losses and the ties. To see the happy hockey players out on that ice. Giving it their all....learning new things and bonding as a team. To the coaches this year thank you for giving your time and patients to coaching this team. Thank you to the parents for making this managing position easy(er))! And to Amy for being my other half this year....And of course thank you to the kids for making this season a fun, fast past, energetic, entertaining LAKERS hockey season!!! Cant wait till next year!!!
