Owen Sound Attack Day for the Atom Rep team
On Sunday Dec 15th, the Atom Rep teamed travelled to the Bayshore for a super fun day.
To start, they played an exhibition game against Minto. Shallow Lake played amazing on the big ice surface at the Bayshore. The final score was 10-3. Gavin G, Cole D, Matthew B, Aidan C, all had a very successful game with 2 goals a piece and with assists to contribute to their points. Josh Devries had a nice skate up the ice to berry a goal and an assist to add to his game. Kurt I had a single. Kirk G and Quinlan Wilder had a couple of assists for the game as well as Ben S.
After their exhibition game, they enjoyed the company of Minto for a pizza party for all the players. Two Attack players came into the dressing room for the kids to ask questions and get some autographs. By two o'clock, the Shallow Lake Lakers wore their jerseys proud at the Attack game, even to make the jumbotron was a hit.
At the end of the day, after the Attack won their game against the Windsor spitfires, they hit the ice for a skate with all the Attack players to get autographs and pictures.
It was a great day for the kids and one I know that they will remember for a long time.
