Lakers Win Port Carling Tourney
The Shallow Lake Garb and Gear Atom Rep team travelled to Port Carling for a tournament on November 15-17. The Lakers won all four games of their games to take the win for the whole tournament.
Ben R and Jesse C earned 2 shutouts each, which resulted in polar bear dips for the entire bench staff (the manager seemed to be missing at this point) on Saturday night in a very chilly Lake Rousseau.
Jessica, Josh and Quin got their first goals of the seasons. Each and every player, forward and defense, scored a goal this weekend.
The TCDMHA team made the Lakers work hard to win the final.
A fun weekend was had by all, and it will be hard to find such a nice hotel for the next tournament. Hope the Lakers enjoyed their resort stay.
