Clifford Fun Day
The Atom Rep teamed travelled to Clifford on Sunday to have a 4 team Atom Rep fun day playdown.
It was a great day for the Lakers as they played strong against all 3 teams that they competed against. First game was against Mitchell. The Lakers played well against the strong force from Mitchell and was able to hold to a 3-2 win for the Lakers. Goal scorers were Gavin G with a pair and Cole D. with a single. Kurt I and Kalum Mc. earned the assists for this game. Winning goalie was Jesse C. Second game was againest West Grey. Again, another very close game with a score of 3-3 which draw a shoot out to claim the win for the Lakers. Aidan C. and Ben S won it for the Lakers with the shoot out goals. Goal scorers for this game were Aidan C with a pair and Kurt Indoe with a single. Kirk G and Gavin G had the assists for the game. Ben R. was our winning goalie for this game and shoot out. The final fun day game was against the almighty Minto team. The Lakers were up and ready for them. The Lakers claimed the win with a score of 7-3. Cole D. was on fire for this game and scored 4 goals and claimed one assist. Gavin G scored twice with Kurt I with a single. Kalum M. 2 assists, Kurt I with 3 assists and Kirk G with one assist. Ben R and Jess C shared the win for this game. Way to go Lakers. You never gave up and you played your hearts out to claim all 3 wins of the day. The Atom Rep team travels to Port Carling this coming weekend for tournament.
