ATOM LL #2, 2012-2013 (Shallow Lake Minor Hockey)

Despite a great effort and hard work the Fretz Valu-Mart Atom LL#2 Lakers were unable to hold off our freinds from the LL#1 squad in the final game of our best of 3 series, and lost 4-1. Josh D had the lone goal and Marshall H scored all 4 for the LL#1 team. What a great series and a great season.    

The two Shallow Lake Atom Local League teams are battling it out for the WOAA Atom Local League Championship.  Game one was on March 17 with the Atom LL#1 team gaining the lead in the series with a score of 2-1. 

The Fretz Valu-Mart Atom LL#2 team took both games this week-end with some great teamwork, passing and shooting.

The Fretz Valu Mart Shallow Lake Atom LL#2 team had a big winning weekend during round robin WOAA playdowns.  Saturday they hosted Arran Elderslie and obtained the win of 3-1.  Goal scorers were Kurt I, Owen V and Zac D..  Assists by Darrly B and Kurt I.  Sunday's game played against Bruce Peninsula and Lakers obtained this win of 5-2.   Darrly B scored a hattrick with Jessica D. and Kurt I.  both scoring a single.   Assists for this game were by Quinlan W. Josh D. Jessica D. Jarrod F. Braden G. and Zac D.  

The Fretz Valu Mart Atom LL#2 team travelled to TCDMHA on Wednesday night for another playoff game.   It was a big game with lots of passing and challenging the puck.   The Lakers defeated TCDMHA with a score of 3-0.  Kurt I scored twice and Quinlan W. added a single.  Zac D and Jimmy St. M.  both received the assists.  Ben R played amazing and obtained the shutout.  Great job Lakers.
