Big Finish and a First Goal!!!
The Fretz Valu-Mart Atom LL#2 team took both games this week-end with some great teamwork, passing and shooting.
Saturday we faced off against Arran Elderslie. The Ice Dogs were strong and put up a great effort keeping the game scoreless into the 2nd period. Final score was 3-1 with Shallow Lake goals scored by Kurt I, Owen V, and Zack D, assists by Kurt I and Darryl B. AEMHA's only goal was scored by Ethan B.
Sunday we took on Bruce Peninsula and finished with a 5-2 win! Darryl B had a hat trick, Kurt I had a single and Jessica D netted her first goal of the season. Josh D had 2 assists and Quinlan W, Jessica D, Jarrod F, Zack D, Jimmy S, and Braden G all had assists. BPMHA goals were both scored by River J.
Overall there was some great passing and offensive pressure for both games. Everyone played their postions well which made these games a pleasure to watch.
