Calming the Storm!!
The Fretz Valu-mart Lakers faced the Saugeen Shores Storm Atom LL#2 and yeilded a 5-2 win!
The whole team came out strong and got stronger as the game went on. Kurt I opened the scoring, assisted by Jessica D and Zack D. Darryl B added the 2nd goal, assisted by Jessica D and Jimmy S. The 3rd Goal was scored by Kurt I, assisted by Darryl B and Jessica D. Darryl added another in the 3rd period to make the score 4-2, assisted by Oskar F. The final goal came from a solid effort and performance from everyone and Oskar with a wrap around banked it off the goalie, assisted by Kurt I and Josh D.
Everyone was really playing their positions well and the puck remained in our control for most of the game. Quinlan, Owen, Zack, Braden and Jarrod played well and ensured that the puck was not in our end for very long. As always, Ben R made some great saves.
Again great effort and teamwork is what racked up this win. Congratulations Lakers, You earned it.
