NOVICE REP, 2012-2013 (Shallow Lake Minor Hockey)

Great time and great tournament.  We finished our year strong winning the Bronze medal in the Huntsville Knights of Columbus tournament.  Lots of competition this weekend and a big ice surface made for challenging and entertaining games all weekend.  Thanks to everyone for a great season! Ok Reps we are off to our year end Huntsville tournament.  Lots of great hockey yet to come, 3 days and 2 nights of hockey and fun in the pool.  Game #1 Friday March 15th @ 3pm vs South Muskoka. Game #2 Saturday March 16th @ 8am (yes 8am) vs Blyth-Brussels. Game #3 Saturday March 16th @ 1pm vs Huntsville Otters. ! Game #4 Sunday March 17th @ 10, 11 or 12 noon vs TBD Hockey Rocks! It was 4 hard fought games but unfortunately the Monarchs were just to much to handle.  The effort from the entire team was terrific and each player should hold their heads high.  Our season playoffs have come to an end but not before we all learned a lesson that will follow us forever!  NEVER GIVE UP! 

Lakers vs Monarchs: Game #1 in Shallow Lake 4-2 loss Game #2 in Mildmay 5-3 loss Game #3 in Shallow Lake 2-1 win in OT Game #4 in Mildmay Thursday March 7th Its a series everyone!  All three games have been hard fought and on the "edge of your seat" exciting! Round #2 is a go, the Mildmay Monarchs will be traveling to Shallow Lake for game #1 on Saturday March 2nd @ 11am.  Game #2 will be on Sunday March 3rd @ 11am in Mildmay. Skate hard boys! Coach Wayne
