Midgets Finish League Play
The Lakers dropped their last two games of the regular season, finishing with a 2-1 loss in Port Elgin last Friday. However, it was an extremely successful campaign throughout the season, closing with a record of 16-5-2, including tournaments and exhibition play.
The regular season in the WOAA ended with a record of 11-4-1.
Liam McIvor would post the only goal against the Saugeen Storm last Friday. The Lakers also let a home game slip away a week ago against Mildmay. The Monarchs would sneak out a 4-2 victory, with Aaron O'Reilly and Ryan Bisson doing the scoring for the Lakers.
This team is nothing but positive heading into the playoffs, after a great season!!
