Lakers Put Another Notch On The Wall At Home
The Lakers were host to the visiting Teeswater Otters last night in Shallow Lake, and came away with back-to-back shutout victories winning 4-0. The game was definitely lacking flow, mostly due to an abundance of penalties being assessed, 58 PIM to Teeswater and 26 PIM to the Lakers. However, the Lakers did out shoot their opponent fairly substantially.
The Lakers would take a two nothing lead to the dressing room after the second period, with goals from Liam McIvor and Luke Heathers.
Ernie MacDonnell had 2 goals in the third to complete the scoring.
Jed Nuttall backstopped the the Lakers for his second consecutive shutout.
