The Clark Pools Novice LL#1 team had a great home and home series against the Bruce Peninsula Predators #1 team this past week. Both games were nail biters with the Predators winning the first game with 3.1 seconds left on the clock. Great positional play and defence and effort from all the kids!. The re-match was on Monday night and it was another close game! Hayden M opened the scoring and we were able to keep the puck in the Predators end for most of the 1st period. The Clark Pools Novice LL#1 Lakers rolled into "the Plex" and received their first loss of the season. We were off to a bit a slow start in the first period but were able to hold the Storm to 1 goal  and then started to turn up the heat. The Storm added another goal in the 2nd and Hayden M replied with 21.6 seconds left in the period making it 2-1. The team played very well in the 3rd, getting lots of solid net drives. Despite their efforts the Storm scored again with 2 minutes left to end the game 3-1. We had a bit of a jersey issue at the start of the game( the ref didn't like the fact we ...

The Clark Pools Novice LL#1 Lakers defeated the Rebels 10-1 in Desboro. Scott S. had a great night with 4 goals, Hayden M. had a hat trick, Ethan C. netted a pair and Connor D. had a single. A great game by the whole team!
