Tough First Loss
The Clark Pools Novice LL#1 Lakers rolled into "the Plex" and received their first loss of the season.
We were off to a bit a slow start in the first period but were able to hold the Storm to 1 goal and then started to turn up the heat. The Storm added another goal in the 2nd and Hayden M replied with 21.6 seconds left in the period making it 2-1. The team played very well in the 3rd, getting lots of solid net drives. Despite their efforts the Storm scored again with 2 minutes left to end the game 3-1.
We had a bit of a jersey issue at the start of the game( the ref didn't like the fact we had our white jerseys) and were forced to change prior to the start of the game. Special thanks to the LL#2 squad for loaning us theirs to get us out of a pinch.
