With this hockey year sneaking up to an end on all of us, and 2012/ 2013 just around the corner, we thought a quick up date, a few forms and some important dates may help your future planning.
YEAR END AWARDS
Each year awards are given out to Rep Coach, LL Coach, Goalie, Youth and Adult Voluteer of the year. Click Year End Awards Nomination Form to complete. There will be a ballot box in the arena in the main lobby area. Please fill this form out and tell us who is doing an exceptional job this year, and deserves a little recognition. Deadline for nominations is March 15th.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
At the Annual General Meeting, the members of the Association will vote to elect the following positions for the Board of Directors:

A nomination form must be completed by all nominees and nominators who are members of the Association. Click 2012 AGM Nomination Form. These complete forms must be delivered to SLMHA secretary, Teresa Bridge before March 30th.

2012-2013 REGISTRATION
There will be three (3) registration dates. First one will take place after this year's Awards Banquet - April 22nd from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. The subsequent dates will be May 1st from 7:00 - 9:00 PM with the final being held May 5th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Registering by these dates will save you money and help us get a jump start on planning over the summer months for a smooth start to hockey in the fall. Click for 2012 Registration Form. Fill out at your leisure and take advantage of this early registration discount. First time players (Atom and under) in minor hockey will also continue to enjoy free registration, so for the newbies out there, lets spread the word and bring them to a great sport and organization. SLMHA Code Of Conduct is is a mandatory form for all players. This must be handed in at registration.
2012-2013 COACHES

The deadline is May 5th It's early, but we are striving for an early start which allows coaches to have staff in place and a good start on the season for planning. To ensure you have the necessary qualifications, click Team Official Certification Requirements to verify.
