Not only did this crew of hardworking Lakers have an undefeated weekend in Montreal and own the skills competition, but they created an entire playbook of memories that will last a lifetime! Chaperoned around town by our new friend and Laker fan Harry (who can parallel park a 56-seater coach bus like a boss!), we experienced our own private bus tour of Montreal, backstage at the Bell Centre, Montreal smoked meat, Lakers version of “Just for Laughs Gags”, going “whole Hawg at the Barn”, Back “o” the Bus Karaoke, Goons 3 starring Ben Shouldice, Quinlan Wilder and Wyatt Hickson, over 250 views on facebook live (Thanks Tiff – best idea ever!), Laker names at the top of the points board, games where every member of the team got points (including the ones on the injured list!), and so much more!
Thanks to everyone who supported us and made this happen. Thanks to one special mom who made the loooong drive to make sure our most recent injured player could be there with his team. Thanks for the incredible show of support and pride we came home to! And special thanks to Brayden who kept us all together and helped Harry get us where we needed to go. We missed you Kurt and all those who couldn’t be there.
