Teamwork
Teamwork is the heart of a hockey club, players that work together, win together. Your LL#1 managed to pull a win from the TCDMHA Rebels last week with a nail biting 1-0 win. The winning goal was scored by Ryan D and the shut-out went to Braden M. A slow start to the game, the Rebels kept your Lakers pinned in to the neutral ice for most of the game. Nice positional play and team work sealed the win in the closing minutes of the 3rd.
A week later we faced the Saugeen Shores #2 team for a rematch. This time the Storm came out on top and handed us a 3-1 loss. Great job from Ty V. his line, along with Trez F on our only goal. Braden M was strong in net, shutting down most of their attempts on goal. Teamwork was our weakness in this game, a hard lesson learned, but great lessons for upcoming games. Next action is in Desboro, Wednesday, Dec 3rd, vs the TCDMHA Rebels. No doubt, the Rebels will be wanting to claim the win with our last game being so close.
