ATOM REP, 2014-2015 (Shallow Lake Minor Hockey)

After a tough weekend of OMHA action in Norwood the reps returned home for some WOAA action against another very tough opponent the West Grey Warriors.  With some players out with the flu it would prove to be very interesting.  The boys found their legs and like always showed up to play even with a couple of men down. The team held on for a 4-3 victory Monday night which gives us enough points to advance to the WOAA Gregg Division finals. March is going to be a very busy month with the OMHA Finals and the WOAA Gregg Division Finals coming up. Get your rest boys....Hockey Hockey ...

The atom reps advance to the OMHA finals today after defeating the Norwood Hornets in 4 games. Congrats to all the players, coaches and family members.  This journey is only successful because of the commitment from everyone.  Lets gear up and get ready for our final OMHA series of the season! Well after making short work of Flesherton in 3 games we find ourselves up against a competitor who has also gone undefeated so far in the playoffs. Its a long road ahead but I think this group is up for the challenge. Semi-final schedule coming soon to a website near you.....

The reps endured 2 extremely physical games over the weekend but came out on top of the series defeating the Lucknow Sepoys 2 games to none.  Give Lucknow a lot of credit they came out hard and kept the Lakers big scorers off the game sheets.  However when you are as deep as this Laker team anyone at anytime can stand up and make a difference and that's exactly what happened.  Derek H. make some outstanding  saves in both games to keep the Lakers alive. Well...here we go...on to the quarter finals against Flesherton. Coach Wayne
