SENIOR A CHAMPS
An empty net goal by Mike Rocca with 36 seconds left in the game sealed the win and lifted the Shallow Lake Crushers to a 4-2 win over the Durham Thundercats and earned them the title of “WOAA Senior A Champions”.

Congratulations from SLMHA.

The win marks the first championship for the Crushers and was bitter sweet for assistant equipment manager “ Keith Cruickshank” who has been with the club since day 1.

The Crushers earned a birth in the final after sweeping there 3 games in the round robin elimination round. Brandon Monohan, Chad Jones and Trent Hay picked up single markers for Shallow Lake and Jay Tremble replied with 2 goals for Durham. Crusher goalie Trevor Vanwyck turned aside 37 shots for the win.
