On Saturday, Jan 5, The Initiation #2 team took on the TCDMHA Rebels for a fun game and won 10-3!!
All 11 players showed up, on time, all had fun, worked as a team, all took at least one shift playing goalie, learned about position during face-offs, everyone was having a good time cheering for their teammates on the bench, Myles had the best (and only) body check of the game…he was down but got up quickly and was OK no penalites. Coaches were Steve G, Mike S, Chuck and Mark S. The players were individually awarded a certificate in the room after the game to commemorate their first ever hockey game from Coach Mark.
Score was 8-3 on the score clock, we dominated most of the play and it was actually 10-3 but no one said a word when they didn’t show a few of the goals on the clock to make it look closer…its initiation Tyke after all and whats it matter…so I say the score was 8-3 but you’ll understand why some might say 10-3.
Tiegan Berne had 5, Ty Shouldice had 3, Jesse Bridge had 1 and Conner Davidson had 1. There are 10 goals recorded for our team and 3 for Chatty.
