It's a Competition
Well, it looks like our coaches Kurt Weller and Joe West did a fine job of dividing the two local Atom teams to make them competitive.
It was a day for our defense to shine. Cameron led Lander, Shawn, and Dominic in blocking all breakaways, and slowing down all the momentum of their offensive. Then to show his versatility, he assisted in the attack with some superb shots from the blue line.
Our offensive lines made some good attempts to break through their defense, but we have not encountered such consistently strong defense work before, and were unable to exert our normal strong pressure.
Both goalies Conner and Ben played their usual strong games to secure the 0-0 final score.
But watch out because some good friendly competition makes us stronger, and we have an excellent coach who has some time to work on our skills and strategies. We want to win, and we'll be coming back stronger than ever for our rematch!
