I would like to thank all the kids and the parents of our hockey team. Our year was a struggle most nights but the kids kept battling and moms and dads kept cheering to help us to finish the year strong.Special thanks to my coaching staff Rick, Wayne and Alissa with special mention to Dereck and Fraser for helping at practices and on the bench when needed.I hope all had fun and learned something on the way. T Perkins scored his first of the year,which turned out to be the winner in a hart fought 8-6 win over arran elderslie 2. The caa line again was dominating on the ice with 7 of The Lakers goals. Next action is March 6 in Paisley.

Your Lakers traveled to Tara last night to take a bite out of the ice dogs last night only to fall short in an exciting OT thriller 4-3. Emma B opened the scoring with a bullet from the blue line.Austin T had 2 including the tying goal with only 1 minute left to push the game into overtime. The Ice Dogs scored 3 minutes in to end it. We are officially on a win streak. The Lakers rolled into M Forest and locked horns with the Rams. The CAA line once again was unstoppable Austin R with 3 points and Austin with 4 goals giving him 7 over 2 games. The 5 De were very good in our end making sure Cameron saw everything that came his way and keeping the front of the net cleared. Your Lakers travel to Tara to take on the Ice Dogs Tomorrow night.
