Dates have been set for this fall's Referee School for members of the WOAA. The course for new, entry-level officials only, will be held on October 19 and 20 in Clinton, Ont.
The two-day clinic will feature a former NHL linesman (and potentially a former veteran referee) who were both previously WOAA officials. Other guests may include OHL and Junior B officials. The course will also include two on-ice sessions, one per day, as well as lunch, snacks and beverages for both days.
The school will be open to people from the age of 14-45. If a person is turning 14 by December 31st of this year they can attend the school.
If you are interested in becoming a referee for the 2024/25 season, please send your name, date of birth, email address and phone number (or parent's contact information if under the age of 18), to Michelle Roebuck at [email protected], by no later than April 15.
