THE GOOD OL' HOCKEY GAME
Grey Roots Hockey Exhibit kicks off Feb 1st- Lakers will be highlighted Feb 21 to 26th

We are excited to share with you that Grey Roots will re-open on Tuesday February 1 and the exhibit is ready for your discovery!  Grey Roots is hosting the traveling exhibit, Hockey from the Canadian Museum of History.  Visit Grey Roots and discover why hockey holds such a special place in the hearts of Canadians!  Building on this national exhibit, Grey Roots has created an exhibit, The Good Ol’ Hockey Game, that features some of Grey County’s local hockey history.  From the evolution of sticks and skates to a look at some of Yesterday’s Stars and into the future with Tomorrow’s Stars, this exhibit has something from every Grey County hockey fan.  There are games and activities to play, stories and memorabilia to captivate visitors of all ages, and unique photos and equipment to surprise you!  The hockey exhibits runs from February 1 through April 2.

Each week, Grey Roots will feature a Grey County minor hockey association.  The foundations of all players, from the NHL to puffer leagues, begin with minor hockey.  The associations were blindly drawn to assign weeks.  The Shallow Lake Lakers will be highlighted February 21 - 26.  All players from our association who come in their jersey, will receive free admission during that week, as will their accompanying family members. If you don't have your jersey players can simply mention upon arrival which team they play for.
