Submitted By SLMH on Mon 11 15, 21
If you’re interested in becoming a referee this season, information for Entry Level Clinics for new officials has been released.

Officiating is a great way to stay involved in the game, earn some money for doing so and give yourself a rewarding experience at the rink. It is a great part-time entry level job for teenagers who often double as rink rats. Plus, you can stay in game shape on off days.

Below are some step by step instructions on what courses you will need to become an Official. If you have any further questions about the need for referees in your area, reach out to your local Association.

If you haven't already you will first need to create an HCR account and Link yourself as a member to access clinics:

It is highly recommended that the participant use their own email address when creating a Spordle Account.

To become an official you will need to take an Entry Level Clinic. Before you take an entry level clinic you will need to take the following courses:

Once you have completed the courses above you will be able to register for an OMHA HCOP Entry Level Clinic"
