President's Message
Submitted By SLMH on Sun 06 28, 20
I want to start off by saying how honored I am to be the President of the Shallow Lake Minor Hockey Association for the 2020-21 season

Born and raised in Shallow Lake I take great pride in saying that Shallow Lake is my hometown. I have played, coached & refereed and have been a strong supporter of Shallow Lake and its sports teams for over 50 years. I am truly fortunate to have so many great people on the executive this year and want to thank all the past executive for the countless hours and dedication they have put into the organization. A special thank you goes to Rhonda Vanderploeg for 23 years of dedication to Shallow Lake Minor Hockey, your knowledge of the organization will be missed.

This season will be like no other as we wait with anticipation to see what this hockey season will look like. I will try and keep everyone informed with what the Ontario Government, Hockey Canada and the OHF put in place to start the season and possible dates. Whatever it may be we will try and make it as fun and enjoyable for the kids as we possibly can. Watch the website for any new announcement’s regarding registration, fundraising, start up dates etc. Please feel free to email or call me anytime if you have and questions and I will try and respond ASAP. In the meantime, stay safe and lets keep our fingers crossed for an un-delayed start to the hockey season.

Yours in Hockey

Gary McMillan-President
