Skill Development Sessions

Mitch Wright and Zac Coulter run a small business called Top Corner Training. They are planning to run hockey skill sessions this summer at the Rec Centre in Owen Sound, as well as private lessons on their synthetic ice surface.

They both played for the Grey-Bruce Highlanders before playing together for the Owen Sound Greys Jr. B. They then both moved on to join the Elmira Sugar Kings, where we finished out our junior careers. Currently, they both play CIS hockey, Zac for Waterloo University and Mitch for Laurier University.

Their goal is to help develop players in the key components of hockey such as skating, puck handling, passing and shooting through game-like drills. Aiming to make the sessions as personal as possible by only allowing 12 children per age group. The cost is $280 for 8 sessions each 50 minutes long.

If you know anyone who would be interested please feel free to pass along their information, as they would greatly appreciate it. Spots are limited for the on-ice sessions so register soon.

In addition, they run a 30X23 foot synthetic ice pad, with specialized stick handling equipment They are excited to provide hockey skills training at the facility. This is the first synthetic ice pad in Grey-Bruce so be sure to check them out
