As Tournament Convenor of Shallow Lake Minor Hockey, I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome all on behalf of our Executive.
I want to commend all coaches and parents who have committed their time and effort to working toward a safe and fun activity where the children can learn enduring lessons of hard work and reward as well as sportsmanship and self discipline.
I hope all parents and others will take the opportunity to enjoy what our community has to offer between games, and if possible that you will patronize some of the fine local businesses.
I would like to personally thank the referees, arena staff and many other community members who have worked relentlessly to create a memorable and rewarding experience for all participating hockey teams.
To all teams, regardless of where you place in the tournament, you are all winners for having the drive to compete as team players in the great game of hockey.
I am happy to announce that we will have the OMHA Events Team at our tournament on Saturday, October 25th from 10:00 - 2:00 PM. The OMHA Events Team is a traveling road crew based out of the OMHA Richmond Hill office. The Events Team is equipped with interactive games, promotional items and an energetic staff who travel across the OMHA supporting its centers at Tournaments and other promotional events.
