Peewee LL Tournament Finalist in Ayton
In their second Tournament of the year, our Shallow Lake Sauble Golf & Country Club Peewee LL once again made it into the Championship Finals at the Ayton Tournament over the weekend.
Unfortunately this time they ran out of gas late in the game to fall 4-2 to a strong Mount Forest team.
Team play was very focused and consistent throughout the day with exceptional performances given by Alex P. with 7 goals in 3 games, Chris B. with 2 goals and 3 assists as well as Devin S. in net, the team MVP of the Championship game. Well done everyone.
The Peewee LL team is continuing to improve over the season, winning 9 of their past 11 games. Further improvement is on the horizon as the team hopes to be well prepared for the upcoming playoffs.
