Novices Arran-Elderslie Tournament Champions
Novice LL#1 Win Tourney in OT!

Tara - The Shallow Lake Clark Pools & Spas Novice LL#1 team won the Arran-Elderslie Tournament this past Saturday.  The final game was won in dramatic fashion, as the Lakers pulled out the victory with a 7-6 overtime win over Arthur.  This game was a great challenge for our team as the Arthur team was a strong opponent.  The play was back and forth as the two teams alternated scoring.  Jake Ross lead the scoring charge with six goals including the OT winner!  Kaiden Henrich added a single.  Assists by Jamie Norman, James Palmer and Zach Palmer.  Ben Redmond came up with clutch goaltending again for his team.  The MVP award for the championship game went to Jake Ross.  The Hard Hat went to the entire team for their team effort this game.  The Championship trophy was accepted by Dominic Eldred-Wood as he was our team captain for the day.

In our semi-final game the Lakers poured it on and came away with an 11-2 win over the TCDMHA Rebels.  Jake again potted 6 goals, Tyler McKee added 2, singles went to Meghan Prentice, Joseph Weiler and James Palmer.  Assists by James Palmer, Meghan Prentice, Dominic Eldred-Wood, Jamie Norman, Joseph Weiler, Zack Deakins, Johnathon Coffey and Jake Ross.  The MVP award went to Meghan Prentice for this game, great passing and a nice goal.  Joseph Weiler was awarded the Hard Hat for again his solid defense and a few nice end to end rushes one finishing with a goal, Happy Birthday Joseph!

Our first game of the day saw our team come away with a 7-0 win over Hanover.  Jake Ross had 4 goals, Zach Palmer scored 2 and Kaiden Henrich added a single.  Assists by Zack Deakins, Johnathon Coffey, Joseph Weiler and Zach Palmer.  Ben Redmond recorded the shutout.  The MVP award was given to Zack Palmer.  The Hard Hat went to Johnathon Coffey for his great pressure and he also displayed some nice dangling.
