Lakers are down 2-0 in the Finals against Walkerton
It was a very hard fought game against Walkerton last night. Walkerton scored early in the game to have a lead of 3-0 going into the third.
Our novice rep team did not give up and with 6 minutes left in the third period, we scored 3 goals back to back within 2 minutes. Ben Shouldice, Gavin Gibbons and Cole Deiter were our goal scorers. The game then proceeded into overtime where the kids were on fire. Jesse Cunningham made unbelievable saves to keep the Lakers alive. With only 19 seconds left in overtime, Walkerton was able to put one in the net to end the game with a score of 4-3. Walkerton leads the series with 2-0, however, the Lakers are ready to fight back on Thursday March 22nd at 7 pm. Come out and cheer them on!!!!
