Midget Rep Say "NO" To Elimination
The Lakers went to Lions Head last night with their game faces on!!! While facing elimination, a huge team effort produced a commanding 5-1 victory over the Bruce Peninsula squad. The series is still led by Bruce Pen 2 - 1, but our Lakers could draw even with a victory tonight at home.
Lakers scoring came from: Dakota Simkins with two, Dan McIvor with two, and a single from Liam McIvor. Bruce Peninsula's lone gone game very late in the third with a marker from Boyd McLay.
Of note, David Whyte had an awesome night between the pipes. However, all 15 players worked their hearts out to secure another game. Way to go Lakers!!!! Let's tie this series tonight!!!!
