Tie-breaker A Heart-breaker
The 2010-11 Shallow Lake Lakers Novice Rep Team had their season come to a end on Wednesday night. They found themselves in a tie-breaker game with Wingham, the winner moving on to play in the championship series.
The Lakers started out strong by scoring the first two goals. Wingham battled hard and replied with two goals of their own. Shallow Lake lost momentum and never got it back, Wingham potted two more for a final score of 4-2.
The Lakers emptied their tanks, gave it their all and left it all out on the ice. Players hold your head high as you had a great season!
