HARDEST WORKER
The Hardest Worker Award is given to the player who as the coaches would say gives it the most, just good old fashioned hard work.  Parents should see it on the ice and will definitely notice the award winner in the dressing room as the player will be wearing the green hard hat.

Will Kazarian-Hodder - Sun. Feb. 6th - Will earned the a hard hat with a hat trick on Sunday.  With a short bench there was lots of ice time and Will stepped up his game skating hard driving to the net and was rewarded with a hat trick.  Good things happen when you go to the net, keep it going.

Gavin Gibbons - Sun. Jan. 30th - Gavin has been working hard down low in the corners, keeping the puck on his stick, zigging and zagging, making smart decisions, holding the puck until a linemate is open then making a tape to tape pass to an open man.  Great work Gibby keep it up.

Cole Waddell - Sat. Jan. 29th - Cole has been a tower of strength on the blue line for the Lakers this year and today was just another example of that.  His solid play and being able to make the right decision with the puck has kept a lot of pucks out of our end and our net.  Great work.

Alex Simonato - Sun. Jan. 23rd - Alex has been working hard all year long and has improved a lot.  He was rewarded with his first goal of the year on Sun. as he let a hard shot go from the point that beat the Durham goalie, congratulations Alex, keep working hard.

Reese Wilkins - Fri. Jan. 14th - Reese once again had some excellent checking tonight keeping the Storm in check.  Great job on closing the gap, I hope her teammates are watching and learning how to close the gap and check their opponents.  Keep up the great work.

Devin Scarr - Thurs. Jan. 6th - Devin recorded the shutout tonight in "The Battle of the Goalies".  He did everything in his power to stop the puck.  Great job in keeping the puck out of the net.

Braiden Andrews - Wed. Dec. 29th (3rd tourney game) - Braiden's strength and determination helped his team win the championship game.  After a long tiring day Braiden had enough in the tank to go hard both ways.  Great work.

Matthew Weiler - Wed. Dec. 29th (2nd tourney game) - Matthew accepted a new challenge today dropping back to defence from forward, this seemed to be a smooth transition as he fit right in with the D.  Great checking.

Gavin Gibbons - Wed. Dec. 29th (1st tourney game) - While most of Gibby's teammates were still sleeping in the first game of the day, he was in full flight bright and early Wed. morning.  He had his fast feet moving, working hard down low in both ends.

Ben Shouldice - Wed. Dec. 22nd - Ben had a very strong game tonight, he was moving his feet, applying great pressure in the offensive zone which created scoring chances for him and his linemates.  Keep up the great work!

Aidan Christie - Sun. Dec. 19th - Aidan was awarded the hard hat today as he skated hard back to his own end just as hard as he went into the offensive zone, just what the coaches want, hard both ways, keep those legs moving and everything will fall into place.

All Players - Sat. Dec. 11th - Today's win over Saugeen Shores was a total team effort.  Everyone had their legs moving and applied great PRESSURE!  Keep up the hard work everyone.

Christopher Lawrence - Sun. Nov. 28th - Christopher was a big factor in Devin's shutout, as his checking was phenomenal, boy did he ever have his little legs moving!
